About Dr. De Pinho
Dr. João Feldman De Pinho is the founder and Medical Director of Reproductive Centers of America, caring for patients across Connecticut and New York. He is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG), and fellowship-trained in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
He trained on two continents. After earning a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy and graduating magna cum laude from medical school in Lisbon, he completed an OBGYN residency at Universidade Nova de Lisboa, a second OBGYN residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, and his fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Columbia University in New York. Before founding RCA he was Associate Medical Director at Connecticut Fertility and co-founder and Medical Director of American Fertility Services.
Dr. De Pinho remains research-active alongside a full clinical practice. Writing from RCA, he co-authored a 2025 systematic review and network meta-analysis in Frontiers in Medicine assessing treatments for unexplained recurrent pregnancy loss across 38 randomised trials and 6,379 patients, and a 2026 review of amniotic fluid embolism in Obstetrical & Gynecological Survey. He is a reviewer for the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism and serves on a review committee of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.
He founded RCA to make fertility care transparent, ethically grounded and personally accountable — with the same physician involved from first consultation through outcome. He sees patients in English, Portuguese, Spanish and French.
“Dr. De Pinho changed our lives—not just with his knowledge, but with his genuine care. He was there every step of the way, and never treated us like a number. He is the reason our family exists.”— RCA Intended Parent, 2023
