Dr. Levent Keskintepe is RCA’s Executive Director of IVF Laboratories, and one of the most accomplished embryologists in the field. His work combines deep scientific rigor with the practical judgment that keeps IVF laboratory care safe, precise, and consistent.

He has served as Executive Director of IVF Laboratories at the Sher Institute for Reproductive Medicine since 2001, and as Adjunct Clinical Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Nevada School of Medicine since 2008. Earlier in his career he was a senior scientist at the Medical College of Georgia from 1998 to 2001, where he directed the clinical IVF laboratory and the Transgenic and Stem Cell Core Unit.

Dr. Keskintepe earned his DVM from Firat University in 1984 and his PhD from the University of Georgia under Dr. Benjamin Brackett. He holds HCLD and CC certifications from the American Board of Bioanalysis and is certified as an Embryologist by the American College of Embryology.

His research has helped shape modern clinical embryology. He has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed publications and serves as a reviewer for Fertility and Sterility, the Journal of Assisted Reproduction and Genetics, and Theriogenology. Selected work includes Keskintepe et al. (2002) in Biology of Reproduction, the protocol chapter “Freeze-Drying of Mammalian Sperm” in Methods in Molecular Biology (2015), Sher, Keskintepe et al. (2007) in Fertility and Sterility, and a series of 2009 studies on oocyte biopsy, vitrification, and embryo survival.
